invitation to our symposium about medically
refractory epilepsy (MRE). We are pleased,
on behalf of the staff members of the
department of Neurosurgery and of the
Reference center for Refractory Epilepsy of
the Cliniques Universitaires SaintLuc/
Université catholique de Louvain (UCL)
to introduce this symposium which would be
held in Brussels on November 25th and 26th,
2010.
We have composed a stimulating program
that covers the extended scope of MRE for
all clinical scientist involved in this
pathology including medical trainees and
students.
The symposium will discuss the ethical and
socioeconomic
aspects, the current practice
and finally the controversial present and
future regarding medically refractory
epilepsy.
