The BCNA was founded in Tartu in 1990 and the first conference was hold already one year later – in 1991 also in Tartu. The idea of BCNA was to create the organization of specialists to get updated scientific information but we have tried to preserve a strong family – patient oriented approach and, last not least to have fun together. The Conference in 2009 will provide top-level education and state of the art information, particularly aimed for paediatric neurologists and paediatricians. This will be the conference to celebrate the 20th anniversary of paediatric neurology conferences in the Baltic States. The combination of excellent scientific and innovative program with social activities planned for the Tartu Conference will offer you all possibilities to get updated in your speciality, to strengthen scientific collaboration, renew friendships, find new friends and enjoy the old University town Tartu. Tartu - city of good thoughts – with its population of 100.000 is the second largest city of Estonia and the centre of Southern Estonia.
