The course program was designed to serve as a review and update for the most effective and reliable arthroscopic surgical techniques to treat shoulder disorders.
The theoretical principles behind shoulder instability and rotator cuff repair will be discussed and the respective surgical techniques will be practiced.
The purpose of this course is to be both interactive and hands-on. Every two participants in the cadaver lab will have the opportunity to practice on one cadaveric specimen for 4 hours. Every 3 participants in the dry lab will practice on two types of shoulder models using all appropriate surgical instruments and latest technology arthroscopes. The ultimate purpose of the current educational activity is the improvement of the surgical skills of every participant.
